No Barriers to Entry

I came upon Your World of Text the other day - an infinite canvas website much like the infamous /r/places of yore, but no colors and no pixels, just text. Anyone can add anything and anyone can remove anything.

If you visit the site, you'll be greeted with a minimal white canvas with black, monospace type. As you start exploring, you'll find that Your World of Text has become an online microcosm of humanity's thoughts. Joyous, foul, creative, lonely, uplifting, downhearted - all of it.

What the creator has made is a social sharing platform with zero barriers to entry. No signup, no login, no verification. Just type and go. Users express thoughts, feelings, instincts, and emotions all as fast as they can type. No setup, no obstacles, no restrictions; just unconfined, stream of consciousness prose.

Amongst all of the ASCII art, phalli, bad jokes, and obscure lore, there is some truly poetic stuff too. And I think there's something oddly beautiful to it all.
